Portraits

These are two different croppings of a recent portrait I did of Brad Pitt. I was interested in painting him because of his work to rebuild New Orlean's 9th ward after it was devastated by hurricane Katrina. In the background is the repaired levee. The pink triangles are a reference to the tanagrams which were the jumping off point for the architects who designed the new houses in the 9th ward.
